Went flying to day but ended up staying in the circuit, the winds were quite challeging, but I took the opportunity to use the beta version.

I have used it in the car and it has performed flawlessly, buyt today whilst it performed well , I couldn't see the charts, just a black screen.
It picked up a gps signal and the vitual radar appeared at the bottom of the screen and it came up with 'redrawing map' but there were no maps just blackness, I then checked the instrument view and that was there and working. I then dragged my finger accross the screen and the chart appeared, it redrew, but then when I moved my fingure, it went black again. I booted up my second device and it was exactly the same. I then booted up my pda(standby, standy device) and all was well.

The only thing different between them all is, that I didn't sync the PDA this morning before going flying.

Any ideas?

7pm - I have just synced one of my devices and everthing is back to normal. So, is it a bug? what do you think?

You might get a black screen if SkyDemon encounters an unexpected error during painting. If so, the debug.log file on your device will contain details of the error encountered. Could you email this to us please?
